Jamie and A.J. Croce bought Salon Chocolat in June, 2011 and are excited about providing excellent service in an relaxing and luxurious environment. It is their goal not only to provide the best service possible, but to help their clientele enjoy the experience that is Salon Chocolat.

Jamie has been a hair stylist for nine years. She attended San Luis Obispo Beauty College where she studied cosmetology and obtained her license. Jamie currently holds a cosmetology license in both Nevada and California.

Jamie has had a passion for doing hair for as long as she can remember. She began learning her art at the Thomas Everett Salon in San Luis Obispo. She went on to further her education in Santa Barbara and did a two year apprenticeship under the direction of Hans Wolf, at De Cut International. Hans Wolf began his career in Europe moving to the states to be stage educator for K.M.S while opening a string of salons along the coast of California. He is also a two time winner of the prestigious NAHA award. This experience allowed Jamie to work under the direction of Hans while she styled clients who were in the modeling and acting industry.

This experience allowed Jamie to branch out into styling for advertisement agencies in both photo shoots and print. She also worked as a stylist in Lake Tahoe, Laguna Beach, and Paso Robles. Before moving back to Carson City she worked at the prestige Salon Roux. While there she, along with a team of stylist, competed in the Battle of the Salons and went on to earn the title of Top Salon in a six week competition of runway shows.

Jamie brings confidence to everyone she meets, has a passion for what she does, and carries a calming, positive energy that gives her clients an amazing salon experience. She has brought her talents to Carson City, Nevada where her extended family resides. She is happy to lead Salon Chocolat, an already successful business, and she will use her expertise to continue to provide a fresh new edge for the salon and the residents of the Carson Valley. Jamie takes pride in ownership and will be the first to tell you that she works alongside a team of well-educated professional hairstylists, make-up artists, and estheticians who excel in their service to the community. She firmly believes that we must care for the world we live in and she shows this by providing sustainable beauty with the products that are carefully chosen for the salon.
